People will talk about the democratic and republican voterbases as if they're the same people, and that almost seems to be part of the problem with some of the analysis I hear in this. "People voted Biden out after he tried to be bipartisan and replaced him with someone who would play hardball!" Yeah but the people that voted Biden in the first time were not likely to be the people that voted trump in the second time.
