That Matt Walsh clip will never be lived down Edit: So replies stop looping, the statement on its own isn’t terrible but it shows how Walsh approached his documentary. That he was so incredibly wrong on a basic fact about the topic shows he never asked questions in good faith and was so tunnel visioned he refused to learn anything in the process of making the film.

I’d love more content like this where I may learn something or reassess my current beliefs. So frustrating that content aimed to buff and shine a smooth brain is what sells

This was a dream combination for me. Malice proved in this interview that you can totally disagree politically and still have a productive conversation without glazing or bashing the guest.

Props to Destiny to adhering to Michael’s show format. This could have been “debate bro” content if destiny was pissy 😂

Destiny should contact the author of the "epistemic bubble" article to have a conversation. According to Google Scholar, that article has been cited 613 times (!) since its publication in 2020, which means they've probably a) received a lot of criticism or feedback that has nuanced their understanding of the concept and b) witnessed others deploying the term in ways that may have encouraged them to develop a more articulate framing of the concept. I also see they wrote an article about competitive gaming in 2016, which may imply they'd be receptive to talking to a streamer. edit - Oh wow, they also published a book on gaming with Oxford UP. That would be fun to talk about as well!

21:05 i really don’t think this is accurate. I live in California as a conservative and idk the last time someone confronted another on politics. It really doesn’t happen. I genuinely feel like if social media disappeared, within a year all these extreme party lines and playing victim would stop

Two people who disagree, sharing thoughts and ideas!! What do you think this is, the 90's?! I'm an ancap and have so much respect for Destiny. His willingness to talk to anyone. Engaging respectfully and openly. Tip of the hat, sir. We need more of this. Also, taxation is theft. ;p
