This is what happens when a Hasan fan goes outside for the first time.
The left really needs to learn how to disagree with each other without thinking people support genocide or the worst sorts of insults imagineable. This isn't just for the pro Palestine people, even some of Destiny's fans think like this. We aren't going to 100% agree on everything, it's ok and we got to learn to accept that.
On nukes: both Destiny and Dan have it somewhat wrong. - It's actually enormously easier to make an ICBM than a functioning thermonuclear warhead, so Destiny has it the wrong way around. If you have nukes, it's basically guaranteed you have also invested a tiny fraction of that budget into making missiles that can carry them. - Israel's nuclear-armed submarines are diesel-powered, the two things can perfectly exist together. The main issue is that this severely limits their submerged range, so to conduct an attack they'd likely have to spend a significant amount of time either surfaced or at least snorkeling, which makes them much more detectable than American or French submarines. - The nuclear triad is considered somewhat outdated, several countries lack either a silo-based system or an air-based system, and a few only rely on nuclear submarines because their nigh-undetectability makes them reasonable substitutes for both air and land launchers. - Some Israeli sources have actually mentioned the use of Israeli nukes in a first strike against European countries in case of insufficient defense of their Jewish populations. However Israel is very much behind both in size, technology, and warhead count than many European nations, so any such attack would be ultimately entirely suicidal. - North Korea almost certainly has functioning ICBMs, since they are easier to make than satellite launchers. An ICBM only needs to take a suborbital path around the Earth and live maybe 20 minutes, a satellite has to perform orbital insertion and last long-term. The propellants are also much easier. - Israel got their nukes from France back in the 60s, and is widely believed to have tested their nukes at least once in the Vela incident, where they likely collaborated with Apartheid South Africa, which had its own nuclear program until the 90s when it dismantled it. - You can launch a ballistic missile from a torpedo tube, they can have a 'zeroeth stage' that moves the missile vertically in the sea and allows it to emerge from the surface of the water and maintain their full capability. Submarines surfacing to launch ICBMs is only necessary in that DEFCON game. - Nazi V-2s can go into space if you launch them straight up, it's not hard. - With ICBM range starting from the Mediterranean, you can strike every point in the world _that matters_ - the only thing you can't strike is the middle of the Pacific. Israel is quite capable of nuking New York. TL;DR Israel absolutely has full nuclear capability at least in principle, their main limitation is in number of warheads and in being a tiny country that would be extremely easy to turn into a big slab of glass in a second strike.
