There are two types of period cramps: the primary type is labeled idiopathic, and secondary cramps that are caused by fibroids, ovarian cysts, or endometriosis. Many women take NSAIDs, birth control pills, and Depo shots for period pain relief. The medical community generally discourages the use of natural remedies for menstrual cramps, but does not discourage the use of medication. Research has shown the effectiveness of vitamin B1 and vitamin E. Upon searching for the root cause, I stumbled upon the following clues: • Painful cramps are caused by pain chemicals called prostaglandins. • Vasopressin, which causes contractions and decreased blood flow, is elevated when you have menstrual cramps. • Painful period cramps are associated with high parathyroid hormone levels. • Women with painful menstrual cramps also have much higher inflammation in the uterus, often related to NF-KB. • Black women have a 33% higher likelihood of getting severe period cramps than white women. • Menstrual cramps are sometimes treated with calcium channel blockers. This led to the conclusion that the root cause of menstrual cramps is a severe vitamin D3 deficiency! Try the following natural remedies for period pain and say goodbye to menstrual cramps for good: 1. Take 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily 2. Take 400-600 mg of magnesium glycinate 3. Follow a low-carb diet 4. Intermittent fasting 5. Cod liver oil for pain relief 6. Vitamin E 7. Vitamin B1 8. Increase iron with red meat 9. Zinc for vitamin D3 absorption 10. Exercise 11. Fenugreek 12. Heating pad 13. I'm 65. Starting when I was 13 I SUFFERED GREATLY with cramps, heavy painful periods ... then later in life an ovarian cyst.... then fibroids in my 40's. It was terrible. The only relief I got was when my period stopped at 54. I WISH TO GOD I would have known this. The suffering I went through. And doctors were no help.😔

The first time I got my period, I only had pain for about 4 hours. Praise God for me, one of my neighbours saw the pain I was having and told me to grind and drink Aloe Vera for the first few days, and for the remaining couple of days, grind and drink some Turmeric. I’ve NEVER had a period pain since that day! My mom planted those in our backyard including Ginger and many other things, so we always had them at our fingertips! I've passed on to my daughter and many others, the valuable information above, and I'm continuing to do so at 70 years old, as I believe we SHOULD share those important things, before it's too late. We must NOT take them with us to our graves! May our dear Lord bless my neighbour's soul as she's now resting peacefully 💐🙏

My daughter , who just started her menstrual cycle over the summer , did not have any cramps the first three months. She is homeschooled , so when the school year started, she didn’t go outside and play as much. Her period then became extremely heavy and extremely painful. Really bad. I prayed about it, thought about what Dr Berg would say, so I upped her iron intake with iron rich foods, and made it a point for her to ride her bike and spend time outside (vitamin D, exercise)for at least 30 minutes a day. Her next menstrual cycle was a breeze and absolutely NO PAIN and minimal bloating!! It was amazing! Thank you Jesus, and thank God for Dr Berg!

I stopped having cramps on two occassions - during extended fasting (7&21 days). I started fasting 2 days and 4 days before my cycle. Zero cramps and minimal bloating!
