Ringing in the ears is often associated with past exposure to loud noise, but there may be additional factors involved. Tinnitus is believed to originate in the brain rather than the ears themselves. When hearing loss occurs at a specific frequency, the brain may generate a sound to compensate for the missing signal. Chronically elevated blood sugar can affect the tiny nerves and blood vessels of the inner ear. Many people have blood sugar problems for years without realizing it because insulin levels can rise long before blood sugar levels become noticeably abnormal. Supporting healthy blood sugar levels may play an important role in tinnitus relief. Reducing carbohydrate intake and incorporating fasting may help support healthy insulin levels and improve nutrient delivery to the small blood vessels that support hearing. These two nutrients help support nerve health and cardiovascular function for natural tinnitus relief: 1. Alpha-lipoic acid 2. Benfotiamine Some people report improvements relatively quickly, while others may require more time depending on the underlying factors involved. I cut out all sugar and carbs are kept under 20 mg per day, I also give myself a nightly massage around my ears and down my neck under my ears clearing any drainage...after 15 years of suffering I now have no issues! Praise God!!❤

I’ve noticed the more carbs I eat in a day the louder the ringing will be when I go to bed at night.

Your ear health is also connected to your DENTAL health. For me, when I started having ear ringing issues, yes I do think it has something to do with eating refined carbs, but that's because refined carbs/sugar weaken your teeth enamel and can lead to cavaties if you don't take care of your teeth. The more I take care of my teeth, brush and even do oil pulling... the less ringing or ear issues I have My ears would produce less ear wax, and then my ears would be dry when I paid less attention to my teeth and gum health. This is my experience, but I encourage everyone to look into the research on this. TAKE CARE OF YOUR GUMS AND TEETH.

I've had ear ringing for years and its directly related to my neck issues (bulging disc). The worse my neck is on a particular day, the worse my ear ringing in. There are a number of reasons for ear ringing, its just a matter of finding the cause of your particular ringing.
