*Tyson's answer to "what would you ask an alien?" wasn't what I expected.* He wouldn't ask about propulsion, origin, or how they got here. He'd lay out our science — periodic table, Pythagoras, our instruments — and ask, _"What are we missing?"_ His reasoning: we haven't left low Earth orbit in 52 years. Anyone capable of reaching us has resolved questions we haven't. So the value isn't in confirming what we know. It's in finding the gap. *What's the one question you'd ask?* Is Tyson right that "what are we missing" is the right opener — or is there something more important to ask first?
Neil should take his own advice sometimes …. “There’s no shame in admitting what you don’t know. The only shame is pretending you know all the answers.” — Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Haven't left low earth orbit in 52 years? Didn't we just send another mission to the Moon orbit that?
We could get back to that in a hearbeat. What we are missing is innate self introspection and correction. A few learn it but are quickly killed before they can spread it. Yours. 99% empty.
I can't help smiling when Neil is asked questions, his opinions are entertaining. 😁
Hey Keating, why don’t you have Uri Geller on?
“WHERE’S RACHEL!?”
Neil vs. Terrance. When you can't find good answers, rely on entertainment.
"Do you speak english?"
When aliens say take me to your leader, you should take them to the real president of US - Benjamin Netanyahu
