A family member was recently released from our local hospital, and I was shocked at how poor the dining area food selections were. Vending machines full of sugary sodas, bioengineered snacks, mystery premade plates with unknown meat sources (and not labeled), prepackaged pasteries, cookies, Chocolate covered nuts. No salad, sandwich options, but plenty of pizza in a box. No fish was to be found. The dieticians on staff need a mandatory course on nutrition. I nominate Dr. Ekberg!

At 55, I was living with chronic back and hip pain, headaches, and constant fatigue. Nothing seemed to work—until I shifted to a mostly carnivore diet. Now at 69, I feel better than I did at 45. No pain, more energy, and mental clarity. People are shocked when I tell them beef makes up most of my meals. I grow the few vegetables I actually love and freeze them for winter. In Canadian winters, I’m 80% meat-only. Don’t let outdated food rules define your health—you truly are what you eat. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Just a note, a healthy friend of ours ate one fish that was given to her that was caught in Lake Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. In a very short amount of time, she was unable to talk or walk. Why? Mercury and Lead poisoning. Yes, one fish. As pristine as you think these lakes and rivers are, the mining and farming has polluted our waterways. So, beef isn’t beef and fish isn’t always fish.
