Was diagnosed 5 years ago and my doctor told me to ignore people like you on YouTube. A1c has been 6.2-6.4 since then. But i wanted more and tried listening to you i went from 6.4 to 6 and 2 days ago it was 5.8. Now i am angry at my doctor

You are so right Dr. Fung. In 2020 during Covid, I had a fasting blood sugar of 385. My doctor asked me what I wanted to do and I asked him to give me 3 months and if I did not bring it down, I will discuss medication options. I immediately started fasting, cut out carbohydrate and sugary drinks. It was not easy but in the first 3 months, I cut my AIC from 13,8 to 8.5 and the the second 3 months, I completely reversed it. I have been doing One Meal a Day since then. I have stayed in the normal range since then. I feel great, I have a lot of energy and I feel like, I used to, in my 20s. It can be done with discipline: People, ask me if I will fast perpetually and I say a big YES!!! Why not? If it keeps me healthy and energetic. Your page gave me the courage to stay on track. Thank you.

Just a quick thanks. Diagnosed with Type 2 just a month after my Dad died (with diabetes as a cause of death) in 2022. Intermittent fasting (with the help of your knowledge of course!) has saved my life. Now in remission on my last HbA1C (UK, first test was 72 mil/mol 😮). So, just thank you.

I feel like it might help even more if we’re mindful not to overeat during the eating window, and maybe keep carbs on the lower side too.

Thank you! I am down 50 pounds over the course of a year. It was 70, but a few creeper back on, I got careless. Back at it this very say, 36 hour fasts twice a week. Thank you!!

Thank you Dr. Jason, in my mid-seventies, did Keto and OMAD. In just a few weeks lost 16lbs, A1c is 5.5 from 6.7 and BP is normal. I'm cotinuing to improve my metabolic health. You are literally a life saver. I feel so much better and can now eeise easily. ❤❤❤!
