I have noticed that the Toyota dealerships while claiming to be performing routine maintenance on the new vehicles, covered under warranty for 24 months, are not actually doing it, but billing it to toyota, and cheating the customers and their company. Not nice.
Nice thing about my mazda dealership is that they email you a video while you wait, detailing their inspection of brakes, tires, brake fluid etc...
My Toyota dealership has been telling me for the last 150,000 miles that my water pump is going out on my tundra. LoL
Yeah, my local Toyota dealership charges $180 for their hourly rate, have a common practice of recommending services like it’s a McDonalds menu, and actually not fixing issues. Most dealerships are truly the work of the devil and need to be put out of business
I had a bad alternator on my Honda Accord. Honda wanted $700 for a new one. I went to a place that rebuilds them and they charged me $75 no tax. That alternator lasted until I scraped the car many years later..
Point is ............Never take your car to a dealership for anything other than recalls.
It's why I do my own oil changes and my own brakes, too many scams out there.
It’s called stealership for a reason. They charge three times the price per hour compared to an independend shop for work they didn‘t even do..
Stealerships have EARNED their name and reputation.
