We ended up with both as rentals on a long family road trip last month and I have to say I’m shocked by this review because in the real world, we were 100% opposite. Us drivers were constantly fighting over the Chevy. None of us could stand how the expedition drove. It was all over the road whereas the Chevy was planted and confident. The hands-free in the expedition would yell and beep, and pulse the brakes, even with my hands on the wheel and me staring out at the road. We all were so frustrated by the system. The Chevy super cruise worked flawlessly. The Chevy had a heads up display and user-friendly controls making it easy to drive. The expedition has all these strange haptic buttons that were dangerously difficult to figure out how to use as a driver. Every single one of us hated the split tailgate in the expedition. It was always in the way when trying to reach in and just makes the process of opening and closing so much slower. One of my family members was in the market and after the trip immediately went home and bought a suburban because him and his wife couldn’t stand the expedition. All of us were so glad to get rid of it. We ended up turning it in early and exchanging it because we could not stand how awful it was on a road trip. The Chevy was hands-down, the better one in our real world experience.
Car reviewers in general are way too complacent and accepting of these ridiculous prices. I don't like to hear that $75k isn't too bad because the top trim is $90k plus
Thank you! The seating comfort in the Ford is a big win in my mind. Whether you are in the vehicle for ten minutes or ten hours comfort level matters.
Which one of these chonky three-row SUVs would you like to see in the driveway? Let us know what exactly won you over!
THANK YOU. I love it when in a VS video the host actually says "THIS ONE is better". Watching a long video just to hear the host say "which one is better? well it's up to you" feels like a huge waste of time.
Great video!
I appreciate your consistency.
Great vehicle presentation, informative and fun to watch! 🙂
Great comparison!
