Hello Edmunds! PLEASE MAKE A CORRRCTION: In thr LEAF settings there is a "Remeber Last Drive Mode" which, if you turn the car off, the eStep will be on when you turn it back on. While irs not on by default ita very simple to activate.
I'm anxious to see a comparison of the Leaf vs the new Bolt. I hope you will do a video on that!
My wife and I have had several Nissan Leafs over the years and were thinking of trying something different. I looked at the Equinox but compared to the New Leaf, the build quality felt cheap and I didn't like the interior. So, I guess we are getting another Leaf.
We got an Equinox LT2 AWD for the family this year and we love it. We did our first roadtrip for Thanksgiving and it was amazing.
Gimme a $26k Leaf with none of the bells and whistles. Less things to break and cost money to repair. Thank you very much.

I have been watching you (Emme) review cars when you were with CNET and I am glad that I get to continue seeing your upbeat, funny and honest reviews on Edmunds. Truth be told I was hoping for a better review on the Nissan Leaf because I owned a 2015 Chevy Impala LTZ and wouldn’t drive another Chevy. Oh well, maybe a different EV for me in the future.
You should do a cold weather range test and a summer range test where you have to use AC or the heater
