63k for the 4Runner, and you don't get rear climate control or even third-row air vents is insane.
Passport is on top of my list, although imagine if Honda would give the Passport treatment to the Ridgeline, I'd be first in line to get one!
Toyota needs to lower their prices and restore their quality across all segments. I’m a Toyota loyalist but other manufacturers are clearly driving by them.
Where has this reviewer been this whole time she’s amazing love her thoroughness and transparency
Bought a new 2026 Passport and just completed a 3200 mile road trip - averaged 28.9 mpgs overall in Eco mode. Very impressive!
One thing no reviewer (yet) has noted, but I noticed in a Passport Trailsport Elite test drive… the big display is tilted forward slightly toward the interior vs backplaned toward the windshield. That means less chance of glare and reflection on the display. I rented a BMW X7 which had a huge display and was ridiculously impossible to see in the AZ sun plus it was scorching to the touch. So good on Honda for that tiny, unnoticed detail.
I like that you cover the cup holders. It’s one thing a lot of manufacturers get wrong
I'm and 83 year old car guy who has owned and driven over 150 different vehicles during my 67 years of driving (honest-to-God truth) from base models to luxury cars, 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, AWD, domestics, Italian, German, Asian, passenger cars, trucks.....and the beat goes on! One month ago I purchased a 2026 Honda RTL Passport, and I swear, it's the best driving and most comfortable, and easy to master hi-tech vehicle I've ever owned. Even though we live in South Carolina, the AWD will be much appreciated when we move to upstate NY about a year from now. It's an exceptional vehicle, IMHO.
Happy 4th! What's your must-have quality in an off-roader? And in which of these would you want to pull up to the BBQ laden with fireworks? Let us know in the comments!
If you buy the Grand Cherokee, you can always test drive the other two whenever it's in the shop.
