Purchased the Blazer EV RS AWD at the end of May of this year. Have not had one issue with the vehicle and have a little over 8,500 miles on it.

When a car manufacture offers to buy your car back without even asking you should probably let them. They have clearly found a problem that might lead to lawsuits.

I purchased the RS RWD a few months ago, and I’ve really enjoyed driving it. So far, I haven’t encountered any issues. As for the sound system, mine is equipped with Bose, and the sound quality is excellent.

Unfortunately, I am someone that traded in a rock solid 2022 Bolt EUV Premier which never let me down or experienced any issues for a 2024 Blazer EV RS RWD as I anticipate the tax credit and upcoming tariffs are going to make many EVs including the Blazer harder to obtain going forward, but that's another story. Anyway, the Blazer let me down the very first night I owned it, on the way home. I drove it for 12 miles before I got it home with a service vehicle immediately error, and high voltage charging system error, and the car was unable to charge. That ended up being an issue with the valves for the AC/Heat pump system, and it has lost all of its refrigerant. A week later, I finally got my brand new Blazer back, and the errors for high voltage haven't come back. But within the first 200 miles, my right rear tail light intermittently also stops working, but only when using the turn signal. I get a "check right rear turn signal" error on the dash, and a hyper flash. I've confirmed the light indeed is not flashing. Brake lights don't always work either. The infotainment itself is buggy as well, and the Android Automotive apps leave a LOT to be desired. Most of them have very limited functionality, and nearly all of them for me say "can't browse media." So I have to use voice commands for everything. It also lacks Pandora which I've used for the last decade + on previous GM Vehicles. The buggy infotainment doesn't stop there. The default settings for BT make it so any notification or sound you get on your phone, it'll switch your audio source to BT even if you're on, say, Youtube Music. It'll then mute itself. You have to disable phone priority for the audio. Again, it's a default and super annoying, and dangerous as it takes your attention off DRIVING because of all the bugginess. This is on a fully patched and firmware updated July of 2024 built vehicle. Even with the "Bose" system, it is the absolute worst I've heard in any previous GM vehicles and within 500 miles have replaced with Focal and Infinity speakers. I also have the bugs where it'll alert to anyone walking up to the car, which wakes up the vehicle including the instrument cluster, and infotainment. It also does a triple horn blast every-single-time I start the car. That's fun in the morning when it does this at 6 AM! The pedestrian alert I agree is also way too loud, to the point people in drive thru's on the other end can't hear you. Even in NEUTRAL it blasts. Have to put the car into park every time. It's ridiculous. With just how buggy so many things are on the Blazer, it just feels like GM WANTS their EVs to fail. I just can't come up with any other explanation for it. Don't even get me started on the ridiculously over-engineered charge port door which many owners are having major issues with as well. I do agree though, this is the best DRIVING vehicle I have ever owned. It's so smooth and a pleasure to drive. But that software. That software throughout the vehicle is absolutely a hot mess!

We learned a lot in our time with the Blazer EV, and while it has its positives, we aren’t sad to see it go. Would you consider a Blazer EV now that most of its issues are fixed? Let us know!

We bought ours at the end of November. Got a great deal. $38000 out the door with fed and state tax rebates and many other discounts. Also, 5 year, 0% financing. 1 week after driving away, started getting battery errors. Took it in 3 times and it turned out it was a bad valve on battery conditioning system. Waited 3 weeks for part. So far, so good. Love the car and I hope that was our one gremlin.

I’ve had my RS AWD since May 24 and I love it more every day. The looks, the ride, the comfort and the quietness are just what I had hoped for. DC Fast Charging stations are my only issue, but that’s not Chevy’s fault. Yes, I recommend it and yes, I would buy one again.

I wouldn’t have considered the blazer ev if this video came out before I leased it. My experience has been the complete opposite and flawless. Google maps on the 17” screen is amazing! Yes it is loud and the side mirrors should be bigger in my opinion but still not dealer breakers. It was the cheapest lease for an ev and far cheaper for an ev its size. Very happy with it.

The pedestrian warning system was SO LOUD, I pulled the fuse to it. I had a Chevy Bolt EUV before this blazer EV and it was no where near as loud as
