"Seeding in June is normal up here" I need more Minnesota content like this. Y'alls California gardens give my zone 5 butt unrealistic expectations 😂
I love that 1) she's asking great questions, and 2) he's listening to her questions, giving her time to ask them, and giving easily digestible answers. :)
What I would give to have Jacques charitably comment on my attempts at gardening
Yeaaaaa that coop is gonna get torn apart with those types of predators. She needs a tall perimeter fence and a livestock guardian dog in an area like that.
Oh to have a teacher with the patience and enthusiasm Jacques shows when explaining plant and garden stuff. We would all enjoy school much more
I see the smart coop going into the garage at night. think bear proof, they are strong buggers
2:15 That fence is not tall enough to keep out deer.
I love the refreshing someone else’s garden series
Hey, thanks to Jaque and his host for getting a video out that pertains to '4 season' climate growers. About 5 weeks ago, I sent my 4 week old chicks and ducklings outside for recess. A 2 foot high coil of chicken wire made a decent 12' round pen in side yard. They loved the sunshine and dealt well with any chilly gusts. Living in a rural town afford me the ability to let them free range between both next door neighbors. Everyday they explore a little further. My dog has been good at keeping them near and off the street (i am 2nd house from end of road)
We just built our 10x20 chicken play pen. Tomorrow we'll install the automatic door and nest boxes. Let the eggs begin 😂
