So I decided to do an experiment last year and throughout the winter I collected as many pomegranate seeds as possible. I stratified them in the fridge after I cleaned them in a jar just opened no top stuffed the jar full as many as I could must’ve been over 500 seeds in the beginning of the spring. I sprinkled them all over my garden beds and tons of them germinated hundreds now I’m testing them out to see if I can get some to survive my zone which is zone 6B here in Missouri if so, I will be the first to create zone breaker. Wish me luck. I am testing over 400+ plants.

I live in zone 9B N. Ca. we have a pomegranate tree that was a full grown tree 30 years ago when we bought our house. We don't prune, fertilize, and rarely water. The only problems we have are squirrels eating them. Several years ago a pomegranate grew on the side of our driveway. We didn't plant it, don't water it. It doesn't get that much sun. It produces pomegranates like crazy.

Uprooted my pomegranate from my yard in riverside over 15 years ago and replanted it in my dad's yard on the coast of San Diego. It does beautifully. Just got done harvesting & juicing them. Time to make syrup and jelly for the family.

When peeling the pomegranate, I peel it under water in the bowl so it doesn’t squirt all over and make a mess all over me and in my kitchen area, sure saves on clean up

Perfect timing. I bought a container pomegranate about two years ago and it's just bearing this year. I love it when that happens!
