I love this. I love this so much because it really does get at the core of the message I was trying to send. The story of sheer faith and perseverance through what seems bleak and “the end of the world” is something I felt wasn’t explored enough in this type of horror, and I love that this is the takeaway. The story of war and PTSD that can cripple someone or make them stronger.. And then a lot of inspiration from old obscure cursed internet videos that scared me as a child.. but the core being that no matter how evil some monster or prison camp guard is, the human spirit will persevere if it really wants to. Thanks so much to Lee and others at FT. Dream come true
Don’t forget the Fried One, the Blended One, and the Diced One. There’s also the Baked One, but we don’t talk about it
The boiled one looks like something a 5 year old would draw and then proudly show to their parents with pure joy and happiness as the parents look at the picture in horror and pretend like it's adorable
The boiled one genuinely creeped my out the first time which analog horror hasn't done in a bit
"Locked-in syndrome" might just be the funniest sounding, real condition of all time
2:50 - This is not what cognitohazard means! This means infohazard. Cognitohazard means dangerous to percieve - not to know.
The message that forgiveness is the best way to overcome hate and pain is a lesson you might not expect in analog horror, but maybe that makes the message ever more important.
matpat trained him well, i can tell his life essense was taken by pure theorizing
Watching this while going to sleep, then being told that I will fall into a pseudo-coma with the boiled one watching when I wake is not what I wanted. I am never again watching analog horror to sleep ever again.
11:54 of all the jobs for a literal war criminal to have, insurance sales man somehow seems the most appropriate
