I (edit) like the theory that Courage is a normal dog and everything only looks weird because it’s how his dog mind comprehends things
I'mma say it - Courage the Cowardly Dog inspired all the creepypastas and analog Horrors nowadays
0:52 “…ironically named Courage” It’s not ironic, you can have courage when you’re overcoming fear.
Despite his near constant state of fear/anxiety/panic, Courage still pushes through to help his people. That is the opposite of "cowardly"
But courage actually has an origin story that is the final episode that we actually learned that his dog parents were taken away from him and they were launched into space,We actually see them near the end of the episode looking to get revenge on the doctor that has separated them from their son.
9:30 ah yes, the best way to identify a beagle. The beagly noises
failed to point out that occasionally courage's transformations aren't just for animation, like when he turns himself into vapor to float through the vent in the doctor gerbil episode

The fact that this show traumatized me but also teaches the beautiful lesson of even if you are afraid you can do it if it is for the sake of your loved ones.
Courage is not truly a coward. He constantly faces his fears. He's braver than I am.
