Part 3. Hey blogger Kevin Hutson, read this!!! What Google Gemini has done now is immediately remove Riffusion, even though it was still available inside Producer AI. They also replaced the AI that was in Producer AI. They removed the specially trained audio model and replaced it with Google Gemini, which is not trained to generate or work with audio. Gemini is very talkative, and if you ask it, it will say that it got confused and carried away, but it will try again, and maybe it will work. The way it works: Gemini is not part of the Producer AI ecosystem. It doesn’t generate or edit anything itself. It’s basically just placed on top as an extra layer over the Producer AI generator. You write a prompt, Gemini rewrites your prompt and sends it to a “ghostwriter” AI. That ghostwriter writes the song lyrics. Gemini then takes those lyrics and deliberately distorts them — why, I don’t know, maybe that’s how Google configured it. After the text is distorted, Gemini sends it for audio track generation. If you click on the track (not the arrows), you can see the distorted lyrics, which don’t even have proper song structure. Then Gemini gives you the result: always the same voice in every generation — okay, two voices, one female and one male — but always the same text that doesn’t change. You can slightly alter the music, but not much. I tried uploading my own lyrics, and Gemini also distorted and rewrote them. Very often, when a track is being generated and reaches 100%, it gets deleted and starts over. Sometimes this happens several times, and sometimes the track just disappears and never shows up. I asked Gemini where my track went and why it wasn’t there. Gemini replied: “Your track was too similar to the requested music style, and the filters blocked and deleted the generation without producing any result.” So basically, if the music is too similar to the requested style, the filters delete it. If not, then it goes through. I tried many times — the voices cannot be changed, the text cannot be changed, the music only slightly, and the result is still bad. Producer AI is intentionally broken, and it’s unlikely Google will fix it or do anything good with it.
