An explosion like that would definitely have gotten the batman attention
He definitely killed the brothers on purpose. The shots of young Oz constantly looking over his shoulder and noticing the rain falling is the director showing us how dark Oz was from a young age in my opinion.
Sofia’s guilt upon realizing she only set Gia on a dark path, like her own when she was younger, was utterly heart wrenching
Once again, this show masterfully demonstrates how you write a villain main character, and a famous villain at that, and not cop out by just making their enemy so much more worse than them. They place Oz in the the protagonist seat and keeps him there, and yet allows the audience to feel several viable and appropriate emotions, including empathy and disdain at times. But at the end of the day, HE IS A BAD GUY who has done horrible things, and the show does not try to justify his actions or paint him as actually heroic (cough cough Agatha coughs sneeze). Edit: Oz definitely knew eventually. IMO He was waiting for them at the window initially, but as he settled down with his mother and got the attention he craved, I think he slowly made the decision. I think that's why we never see his reaction to the news, just the aftermath of his mom's mental state.
I thought his brothers bodies were still gonna be down there when he jumped down. Shit would've been pretty dark lol
I love that they are making Penguin a true villain and not some "anti" hero.
Ryder Allen did a great job portraying the young Oswald Cobb.
The brothers drown offscreen reminds me of that "mailbox scene" from the movie The Butterfly Effect. The actual deaths are more gruesome in thought more than visually.
Sal sounded like Joker in Dark Knight " tell your men they work for me now"
