A Shocking Find in 900-Year-Old Well (S10) | The Curse of Oak Island
Investigating the 900-Year-Old Well on Lot 26 and Artifact Dating
Discover how the team extracted material from a potentially 900-year-old well and how initial laboratory analysis places a key iron find centuries before the known history of Oak Island.
Short Summary
- High trace amounts of silver prompted immediate focus on the ancient structure on Lot 26.
- The team pumped the well and sifted the debris, uncovering an iron artifact that appears hand-wrought.
- Chemical analysis suggested the iron dates to the 1700s, possibly predating the 1795 Money Pit discovery.
This segment details the physical effort to clear the deep well structure, where archaeologists and specialists sought tangible proof of ancient activity. The primary outcome is the discovery of an iron object, triggering intensive laboratory analysis to establish its age using markers like sulfur content and manganese presence.

I’m so over Oak Island. It was fascinating when it first came out, but it’s been explored for so many years with no results. I can’t believe I even watched this video just to see an old nail.
They better find something this year as I have been watch from day one and now 81 so I don’t have too much time left.
"A piece of wood, that at one time may have been part of a tree?" 😂
No matter how many years this project has been going on, without valuable treasure found, it's the hunt I love and all the little historical artifacts they find..
I love Oak Island and the history they keep unveiling
All these years, I've always had the thought that there is a "back door" to the money pit and the layers and flood tunnels were a decoy. Why would they have made it so difficult for themselves to recover their own treasure??

That was such a shocking find .... woooooow , im blown away ! Lmao 😅 the holy grail is in reach ! 🤦♂️🤣
I’m fascinated by the Oak Island mysteries. With that being said I am consistently disappointed by these videos that never uncover anything of consequence.
"We found an old piece of iron!" "Shocking!"
