Original air date June, 30th 1996. The world has changed so much since some of these older Modern Marvels episodes.
I have this on DVD and I still will watch it as I go to sleep tonight. I do wish there were straight history shows like this today.
The perseverance of Roebling and Emily and all of the engineers will resonate with me forever.
That OG Modern Marvels intro hit me in the feels! Keep posting the oldies please!

This was always my favorite episode of modern marvels,shame that they don't show these episodes anymore and I'm glad it's available again.
As a young child in Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first structure that truly impressed me, I'm 65 now and I still think it one of, if not the most, beautiful bridges in the world.
