I lived in Uniontown, PA. about 40 miles from Kecksburg. I saw the object come down and the size of it was unreal. The front was orange trailed by a huge silvery flame. It was moving too slow to be a meteor.
I live in Latrobe PA and a member of Kecksburg club. I attend the ufo festival every year. I've actually been at the site of the crash. Just woods but still very cool.
Why wasnt James Romansky in this? He was a volunteer firefighter in keksburg who saw the craft up close
Meteors don't make u turns ìn the sky ??? What was it.
I was a State Trooper in PA starting back in 1989. One of the guys I worked with who has been deceased since 2003 was at the time a young Trooper stationed in Troop A which covered Westmoreland County. His name was Robert "The Duke" Schneider. "The Duke" had over 35 years on the road. One night while discussing UFO's and the like told me about the incident at Kecksburg. He did not really see too much because he was tasked with directing traffic in and out of the one road which lead to the area. He recalled the military TT flatbed rolling in and some time later the same TT leaving. But this time there was a large object under a tarp that was strapped down. He did not get a very good look at what was under the tarp but noted It was fairly large. He was not a UFO enthusiast or anything and sort of shrugged the whole incident off.
I was in Akron Ohio playing outside looking toward Cleveland I saw this fireball comeing down then it turned EAST ,it turned ?
I was a child who saw this craft towards evening in Warrington Pennsylvania. We were playing a game, and I spotted a light up in the field. I thought it was a friend and her dad walking to the dairy bar to get ice-cream. Back then everyone used a battery lamp or old railroad lantern. I walked out in the field, but it wasn't them. It was a upside down acorn shaped thing that was glowing like an opal. The color was slowly moving and as I was looking at it I noticed some kind of writing going around the bottom. It kept slowly moving down along the rail of trees hovering about 3 to 4 ft above the field. It made absolutely no sound. As it got closer, I ran back towards the house, and it continued coming and I tried to hide as it slowly went by. It continued moving and was blocked from my view from the chicken coop. I went to run to continue watching it and my mother was up in the bedroom and hollered for me to get in the house now. I hollered did u see that again she said get in now. i ran up to the bedroom and we watched it from the window. There's more but too much typing. We have talked about that for years. I always wanted to us record that but didn't. Unfortunately, my mother passed away last July. Then it was later that evening I believed it crashed. First time ever telling this story. Everyone knew we both seen it back then...
Why does the military have this hubris that they are entitled to information or evidence that no one else is entitled to? Is the military justified to "keep it dark?" Perhaps. But eventually, truth, like water, seeks its own level.
The government is a joke and when it comes to the people and truth they don’t care about you or the truth , , ,
In the early 60's (1965?), a large, flaming object flew over our neighborhood of North Springfield in Fairfax County, Virginia. I was about 9 years old. All of our neighbors were out in the street watching the object fly over. It was traveling fairly fast but we watched it for about 5 minutes. I don’t know how high it was but it was about the size of the full moon, reddish orange, with a long tail of flame. My father, who worked in the Navy Department, called my mother's younger brother who was an Air Force Captain stationed at the Pentagon. Dad asked my uncle if he knew what the object was. My uncle answered that the military knew what it was but he couldn't tell us. He told us not to ask again. Was it the Kecksburg object? A meteor? I have no idea but several dozen of our neighbors saw it and I will never forget it.
