Dressing single vs. dressing in a relationship vs. dressing in marriage. Dressing single is straightforward. Based on how styles have changed over time, the evolution becomes you must be more conservative as the relationship progresses. If you dress as a single person would, you invite single people to approach you. Which then invites problems. I can't give a definitive answer to this, but this is roughly the state of things.
