In 1990 my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Mertens in Fremont CA. was teaching a lesson and stopped randomly in the middle of speaking then told the class that “aliens are just us from the future” then went back to the lesson like she said nothing. Over 30 years later and I still remember the what the F feeling after she said it. My father said when he was 8 he saw jets chasing a saucer from his back yard in Concord CA. He said he believed the ships were some sort of intelligent metal.

I love these podcast subjects. No one does them better than Joe. His ability to just shoot the shit on such fascinating subjects with such a huge array of guests is by far some of the best stuff out there. My favorite “me time” thing to do is chill and watch these.

I love how he's trying so hard to be skeptical and withhold judgment on the mummies and stuff, then he's like, "BTW I had a telepathic encounter with aliens where they put a bunch of stuff in my brain..."
