Before this episode, i experimented with new audio settings on a couple things for the first time in 5 years. As a result, the audio was completely unlistenable when it was done — and i brought in an audio **GOD** to fix it. He did an amazing job but had to compensate by putting the volume output way lower. It was not ideal, but i cant even begin to tell you how much better it came out compared to what it was. I fixed the settings after this episode so we will be all good moving forward. My fault guys.
Been following him longer than I’ve been following Julian. Guy gets a lot of hate but I think he’s decent. Nice to see him here

As, a Mexican I gotta say this guy is not lying he's well informed most of it is accurate, and if you people don't know anything about the narco world in Mexico don't bother to talk about crap about this guy. Respect to Johnny Chingon.
Mexican here from the state of Jalisco, this guy is actually 100% correct.. the cartels police petty crimes they dont allow thieves or type of small time crime in their areas also within they own guys they cannot mess up an do ANYTHING to civilians.. the crime rate all you Americans see its literally the cartels fighting against eachother or the military.. civilians are fine tourists even more
True story. I used to have to go to SF for business at least once a week (based in SoCal). The Loin is only separated from the financial district by a street. First time I went there, I was at an atm, and as I was trying to take out money I heard guy screaming and running towards me. I spin around and dude had a knife sticking out of his freakin head. Ran right by me. Yeah, the Loin is a wild place.
I’m Mexican from the city but half my family lives in la sierra and I confirm that it’s safe overall. If you’re not in some shady shit or your family is clean there’s a big chance that you’re not going to be bothered outside of general crime like most inner city stuff. Our populous is the most humble and honorable overall and I would argue that the majority of cartel members didn’t want to be involved unless they had to be for a variety of reasons . But we have had autonomous towns for so long since the revolutionary movement of having people keep their lands. Out people have always been hard working citizens and always wanted to be free and honest… and we have always kept our indigenous traditions and holding our own accountable. Hell we had a kid steal the local churches cup and the town almost killed him they had to have la marina come in to help him get out even his dad gave him up since he was dishonorable to the family for being a thief it’s not acceptable and the cartels usually don’t bother them and only if they want something which even then they have to negotiate with a town because the people are not going to just give in like that. Mexicans are very proud people and have a lot of honor. It’s another story of how a people are fighting for their life and liberty against corrupt entities … well that’s my opinion anyway
