Hello, Kendall. I'm Angelina's father. Thank you for getting my baby's story out there and helping to spread awareness about this type of situation. As a grieving father, you don't see me in much of the media's story, but I do find it very meaningful for anyone to honor her by trying to help others who might be caught up in a similar circumstance. Angelina was the absolute sweetest girl I've ever known. She was an incredible young woman who had so much to offer this world, and she was the light of my life. We shared a father-daughter bond that goes beyond amything I've ever known in this life. Although I'm not able to watch this, I'm told you did a really good job representing her. I so wish there were mandatory classes in early high school about healthy relationships: red flags, love bombing, age gaps, isolation, controlling actions, and providing resources, etc.

I lost a best friend in high school because she called me crying one night because her older boyfriend hit her and I ended up going to an adult (counselor) at school and told her about it. I lost her as a friend, but I never regretted reaching out to an adult for help. I’d rather have lost her as a friend than her possibly lost her life eventually if I didn’t say something. I am 34 years old now and I still am proud of that choice.

Filing divorce today, thank you for the in depth explanation of abuse, Kendall. I didn’t realize I was being abused until I looked up financial abuse and now I am starting a new life! May the family in this case have peace.

Let’s talk about teaching our boys to respect women and not treat them as property. Good god, raise children with some self confidence and self esteem so they don’t feel like being single is the worst thing that could happen. I truly hope this family gets the justice they deserve. 💙

My at the time 16 year old daughter was in a relationship with a 17 year old and I had no idea what he was doing to her. One day She came in with a black eye and I said get in the car. I drove her straight to the police station and forced her to file a report. The officer who spoke with her started tearing up. The things this guy did to her were horrific. I thank God everyday she survived. It took everything in my husband to not murder that man.
