Man Gives Wild Reason for Driving Cybertruck Into Lake

A Texas man allegedly drove his Tesla Cybertruck straight into Grapevine Lake with passengers inside, claiming he was trying to test the vehicle’s “Wade Mode” feature. Police say 70-year-old Jimmy Jack McDaniel intentionally sent the truck into the water, triggering a massive rescue response as crews worried about submerged batteries, safety violations, and possible environmental hazards.
