Mayor Busted in Shocking Sex Crimes Case

A former Gettysburg mayor, Chad-Allen Carr, was arrested in Texas after resigning amid allegations he groomed and sexually exploited a minor he met through the local theater community. Prosecutors say the abuse began with grooming when the victim was a child and escalated into explicit material and sexual misconduct, leading to multiple felony charges. After posting bail and leaving Pennsylvania, Carr was re-arrested as additional alleged victims came forward, and he now faces expanded charges and extradition back to Pennsylvania.
