‘Creeper’ Teacher Sent 11-Year-Old Girl Love Letters

Former “Teacher of the Year” Dylan Dukes was arrested after authorities say he sent more than 60 love letters, gifts, and unwanted hugs to an 11-year-old former student, even showing up at her games and church. Investigators found multiple photos of the girl in his classroom, and Dukes ultimately pleaded guilty to first-degree harassment, receiving a suspended three-year prison sentence and five years’ probation. He must surrender his teaching certificate, undergo mental-health counseling, and obey a permanent restraining order barring contact with the victim.
