‘Vodka Shot Mom’ Left Baby to Drown in Bathtub: Cops

Newly released bodycam footage shows Albuquerque mother Edith Estrada Sigala sobbing as she tells police she put her 7-month-old son in a steamy bath to help his pneumonia, then allegedly fell asleep and later found him unresponsive. First responders initially treated the case as a tragic accident, but investigators grew suspicious after noticing inconsistencies in her story, water left in the tub, and possible signs she had been drinking before a tense late-night interrogation.
