Trump PANICS as VERDICT is Now FINAL!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian cover the Supreme Court's denial of certiorari in Carroll v. Trump, making the $5 million jury verdict finding Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation final and enforceable. No justice dissented. No explanation was given. Three of the justices who declined to hear it were appointed by Trump himself. Carroll's attorney Roberta Kaplan said it "affirms once and for all the jury's unanimous verdict that President Donald J. Trump sexually assaulted and defamed E. Jean Carroll." Trump already deposited $5.5 million into a court-controlled account in 2023, so collection should be swift. Brian and Shant break down the two Carroll cases: Carroll Two (filed 2022, tried first) produced the $5 million verdict now final. Carroll One (filed 2019, tried second) produced the $83.3 million verdict, upheld by the Second Circuit, with Trump's appeal to the Supreme Court expected any day. Trump has posted a $92 million bond to stay enforcement on that one. His appeal was purely about evidentiary rulings: whether the Access Hollywood tape and testimony from two other accusers should have been admitted. The Second Circuit unanimously upheld the trial judge's discretion. The Supreme Court saw no circuit split, no novel constitutional question, and no reason to intervene. Including interest, Trump owes Carroll over $100 million across both cases.
