Women who suffered life-threatening complications under Tennessee's abortion ban and have been waiting three years to tell their stories in court, were ready. Then the Tennessee AG filed an appeal the night before, and a law the legislature passed specifically to block this case stripped the court of all jurisdiction. Just like that.
