I'm 47 and listened to these while cleaning an empty school at night. Now I'm home cuddling my dogs, afraid to sleep 😂

Story 4- As a recovered drug addict of 5 plus years sobriety… I will say one of two things happened with the inheritance item that Alice had stolen. 1. She didn’t get near the value it was actually worth because desperate addicts will pawn things at a particularly low rate when they need to get on & “get well.” And her money ran out way quicker than it should’ve because well she was a drug addict & like I said at the beginning as an ex addict I can confidently say we’re not good with finances. Or 2. Alice did get life changing money for that stolen item, but her curse of being addiction led her into a very young death by overdose. Either way the ends of losing your entire family by stealing a family heirloom off an old woman whilst traumatizing a preteen cousin certainly wouldn’t justify the means.
