That old couple one was straight horror movie level

I remember watching an episode of I Survived where they interviewed an American woman who survived that very same attack on the hotel in Mumbai, India. She was shot and had to play dead next to her dying colleagues. Pretty crazy story

Okay but the lady with the trash can? Why would you call to tell the HOTEL when it is so very obvious that that's the place the trafficking is taking place at? Why wouldn't they call the police? That's just... really really dumb. I'm amazed they had the sense to leave at all.

The second story about Dinesh really touched me. I remember the Taj Hotel attacks as a child. I hope his daughter listens to this episode and is able to empathize with her dad, and understand the trauma he suffers to this day from it. I wish Dinesh nothing but the best and hopes he and his daughter creates a greater bond from this episode. 😊

Story 3 you didn’t do the right thing, LOL like others said you could have made an anonymous tip about the hotel

The woman finds notes in the hotel and thinks it’s smart to tell the manager or staff that work there? 🙄 The first thing that should come to mind is that the hotel is part of the operation.

I lived in Mumbai during the second story. It was pure chaos just living in the city those 2-3 days. I can't even imagine the people who were directly hit. This incident still haunts us.

Story #3 is illustrative of the fundamental truth that the only thing worse than a bad story is a story where NOTHING happens.

Story 2 hit too close because I was 10 when that terrorist attack happened. Everyone was praying and glued to the news channels. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for the survivors. I hope you heal from the nightmares you endured.
