🇲🇦 Moroccan Street Food in Casablanca: https://youtu.be/UPraU2V9ruk 🌶 Ghost Chili: https://amzn.to/3PNTvNQ 👕 T-shirts: https://store.migrationology.com/ RABAT, MOROCCO - Today we’re in the capital city of Morocco - Rabat and we’ll be going on a Moroccan street food tour to eat our way through the old town and finish with a huge and impressive home-cooked meal. Rabat is not only the political capital of Morocco, but it’s also a food capital of Morocco! A huge thank you to Moroccan Food Tour (https://moroccanfoodtour.com/) for arranging my trip to Morocco! We started off this tour today with some street food snacks around Old Rabat. We had Rziza - Moroccan string bread, Chebakia - sweet honey pastry, sandwiches with a mix of meat and sausage all sauteed down with onions and cilantro and spices on a hot griddle, fried sardines with fried potato cutlets, and one of the tastiest Moroccan street foods - steamed cows head! Dar El Medina - For lunch Mohammed took us to a restaurant without Old Rabat that specializes and preserves traditional Moroccan food. We had some of the real classics of Moroccan cuisine like Kefta Mkawra - Meatballs in tomato sauce, Beef Tagine - Beef with prunes, Chicken Tagine - Chicken, olives, and preserved lemon, and not forgetting couscous with beef, chickpeas, and raisin onions. Many dishes were cooked in a tagine, a traditional Moroccan and North African earthenware pan. Dinner at Mohamed’s Home - Tonight it was an honor to have dinner at Mohamed’s home, where his Mom and family cooked for us one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip to Morocco. We started with a giant salad, followed by a platter of chicken, and a literal surfboard sized platter of fish. It was outstanding, and made me realize that some of the best Moroccan food is at local homes. Again, a huge thank you to all my friends from Moroccan Food Tour (https://moroccanfoodtour.com/) for arranging this amazing trip to Morocco. Much more Moroccan food coming! After watching countless YouTube videos, I've reached the conclusion that Moroccan and Turkish cuisines stand out as some of the best in the world. Particularly, Moroccan cuisine seems to be on a different level altogether, and their hospitality adds an extra layer of richness to the dining experience.

Morocco is a country where all your senses come to life. Whenever you feel down, depressed in our western societies where happiness is measured by wealth and materials….I assure you that a trip to Morocco will make you see and feel that happiness is what Moroccan life and traditions represent…you don’t feel lonely there, you end up always making new friends and even become a family member to them….they are so welcoming and warm hearted people…….in fact I’m going to book my next trip to Morocco right now ❤

Years ago, I was invited to a Moroccan wedding. The celebration was beautiful and the food was exquisite. My goodness I couldn’t stop eating. I’m familiar with many of the dishes.

From personal experience, if you ever have the luck to be invited by a morrocan person for a homecooked meal, pace yourself, because it will be course after course after course of delicious homecooked food, and when you think you can't eat anymore the main course will come. And it will all be superdelicious but there will be sooooo much of it. Morrocan hospitality includes trying to feed you till you explode haha. But seriously it is one of the best experiences ever. Moroccans take hospitality very seriously.
