You’ll find all the fresh catch of the day, and we found amazing king fish, one of the Omani favorites and tuna. Shrimps Restaurant‎ (https://maps.app.goo.gl/bc5yb9GWgV5tr2ZA6) - After the fish market we headed to a local seafood restaurant. At this spot you can choose all your own seafood and they will cook it fresh, marinated in Omani spices and showered in tangy tamarind. Al Mandoos Restaurant (https://maps.app.goo.gl/SLSzC2BFfPKUc3Z28) - Next up Mohammed took us to Al Mandoos Restaurant, an amazing place to try Omani food, and specifically some of the lesser known home-style Omani seafood dishes like maleh (salted fish), salted shark, and kingfish shuwa. Mohammed’s - Next up, we had the privilege to hang out with Mohammed as he cooked his version of paplou - an Omani fish and turmeric soup.
