Forget the food, the restaurants, the stalls - Mark is performing an incredibly human act - restoring dignity to the Syrian people. This is how you begin paving the way towards peace and prosperity. Well done Mark. 🙌
What touched me deeply is that the last falafel shop has this sign, which says „please, if you are in need your order is already paid“ which means that people who can’t afford to buy something to eat they can eat here for free. May god bless the restaurant owner for his kindness ❤❤
You're awesome for showing us the side of Syria we in the western world dont know or hear about. I hear too much negative things but im grateful you showed us the beauty of Syrian culture.
Mark I raise my hat for your courage to choose Syria at this very critical moment in its history.
we have many Syrians here in Ethiopia, they came becouse of their war, after that some of them open Shawarma shopes we experience Shwarma after they come.may our creator give Peace for all of us.
I'm glad to see Aleppo stable and recovering from the terrible war, wishing the Syrians all the best from England!
at 48:41 there is a sign behind Mark posted where the cashier sits. This sign reads something like that: if you do not have money then you pay nothing Or for heaven's sake! if you are in need then your receipt has been already paid
I cried a lot watching this, u literally took us 13 years back where we gather with our beloved people that we already lost😭. Food blogging takes a meaningful shape when every bite carries a memorable moments. I have always watched you mark, I had no idea that you will be able to come and review the food at my home city ❤️ I can’t thank you enough mate 👍
My father took me to Syria as a teenager and I thought it wouldn't be possible to return with my children. This video gives me hope.
I think I'm the only Syrian who knows that Mark is a legendary food expert. Him visiting Syria is huge.
