College Graduates Have Meltdowns As Student Loan Payments Resume

Make the colleges and universities FINANCE ALL student loans, not the taxpayers. Problem solved,

I am so close to having my loans paid off, started off with 28k and only have 2k left. No government help needed.

I knew lots of people in college who took out student loans and bought cars, went on expensive vacations and just spent it frivolously. No sympathy. If you can't manage money and spend wisely, no amout is enough.

They had 5 years of deferred payments and no interest. I have no sympathy.

Stop taxpayer guaranteed student loans. They're a bad investment for taxpayers.

Get government out of the student loan business. Problem solved.

How is it that "I don't want to pay back a loan that I signed for" has become a hill for them to die on?

Your body, your choice? Your debt, your obligation.

I paid off all my student loans when I moved to California during COVID when everything was closed. Couldn’t go out to eat, or to the movies or a concert or comedy show …. So we just paid everything off. Debt free except our mortgage and loving it. The borrower is slave to the lender. Period.

Anyone who disputes their student loans while knowing their loans are legit should be prosecuted for fraud.
