The best argument for the abolition of the Department of Education is talking to a student for 5 minutes.
I had to pay $5.01 to a young girl at a to-go restaurant. I gave her $10.01 & she handed me back the penny saying "The $10 is enough". I thought she didn't care about the penny. Nope, she tried to give me $4.99 back. She had no idea what the penny was for or that I wanted a $5 bill back. It's not a rare occurrence.
The saddest and scariest part is how they laugh when their ignorance is revealed.
When the one girl said that she was in “Elementary Education “, I think she meant that she herself was in approximately 1st grade.
Exactly why the Department of Education should be SHUT DOWN!
“No matter how many times you deal with it, stupidity is always astonishing...”
Keep doing this. Americans need to know why the board of education needs to be shut down. Our education system is broken.
Instead of limiting who can vote, how about limiting who can graduate from high school?
What are they taking a break from? It's not education
Everyone should have to pass the US citizenship test to vote. My wife is an immigrant, now a citizen, and I bet she knows more about those questions after studying for just a few months.
