Another SAD note is that I have a friend that works for a Disney Boutique in Magic Kingdom where they would give a little girl a princess makeover and then meet a princess. Well Disney then started allowing adults to do it with the intention to have Mothers do it with their daughters. Well they had to stop that because appointments were overrun by childless adult women and yes, Men. Kids couldn't even get appointments anymore. They went back to kids only, thankfully.
A lot of these people are influencers and want to post as quickly as possible. Personally, I am tired of performative emotion.
There's a happy medium. You can be an adult and appreciate things you enjoyed as a kid without being weirdly obsessive over it .
I can understand that you might still enjoy these things when you have no kids but the fact that they scream, run and jump like this is the most amazing thing is just cringe.
I’m 62 and sadly I can remember when the world was kind of normal it no longer is.
This is not accidental. We have turned too many adults into absolute stark-raving imbiciles.
The infantilization of America is one of the most worrying developments of the last twenty years. Society cannot function if adults insist on behaving like children.
I am so so sick of influencers. We have gone raving insane.
I have a family full of deranged Disney Adults. I’m not one of them. Thank God!
No actual children. Just adults acting like children. It’s kinda dystopian .
