The family unit does not benefit when everyone is all over the place. Our ancestors were much happier and content when everyone lived around each other
You should want your family close to you so you can protect them. One of my neighbors kicked his daughter out on the same day she graduated high school and now she's living with strange people and thinks she's actually his son.
I grew up on my grandparents' farm. The houses were spread out on the acrege. I liked having all the family close. Now we live 10 -15 minutes away from each other.
I'm a boomer and my kids were 18 in the late '90's . I didn't kick them out. They left when they got married or on their own.
My boomer parents kicked me out at 19, and now bemoaned the fact that I live 4 states away and they’re lucky to see their grandchildren once a year.
In England where everything cost twice as much the children stay at home until married is normal
My mother booted my brother the day after his graduation. He made it through but hated her the rest of her life.
I was born in Italy and grew up in NY in a very traditional Italian home. There was no kicking kids out at 18, which is absurd. Rather, as children became adults, they sought to live nearby --like next door or across the street--or even in an apartment of the parent's home assuming it's multi family unit. Sunday dinners were fantastic!
What a disgusting woman, she should be in jail, she violently attacked her boyfriend/spouse and jeopardized her child. She should also have her child taken away. Women who support this are just as bad as she is.
I’ve been wondering for Years how much we’ve been and still are being fleeced at every turn .They skim every dollar that passes through, then we get taxed multiple times on the same money. Skim bags
