"What is an American?" The next documentary by Matt Walsh and the Daily Wire. I'd love to see that become a reality.
How to be an American (for the non-U.S born): -respect the culture -learn the language -assimilate -follow the laws (you’re in someone else’s land now) -don’t try to make the U.S like “back home” -when you become a U.S citizen, don’t vote for the same policies that made you come to the U.S in the first place
The “noose” was probably a bowline or figure 8 knot used by the elevator guys to hoist rails and equipment into the shaft. A lot of times I would leave it hanging eye level so it was easy to grab for the next load. If someone was offended by that then they shouldn’t be on the job
When Teddy says speak our language, he doesn't just mean to speak English. He means to have a common understanding of what it actually is to be an American. He said it perfectly in that segment you quoted; you and others echo his words today. It only makes sense, that is what would be expected of me if I immigrated to any other country.
I hate the fact that politicians think this is their country to give away.
Sounds like she grew up in a non American household! This is the main issue!
Matt has exposed the title of his next documentary.
I've been stopped on the side of the road twice (in my teenage years/early adulthood) by police officers just for walking down the street. I didn't drive so I would walk miles all over the place, every day in my small town. They ask me to stop and talk to them, I stop, I DO NOT run. They ask what I'm doing, I tell them politely I do not curse at them or challenge them or use a rude tone. They tell me their concerns and the reason why they stopped me, I listen. Afterwards they are reassured that I am neither threatening, nor in danger, we exchange pleasantries, because I like police even when they think i'm suspicious just for walking, and I go on my way. Safely, fully intact. Because I didn't choose to act erratically and scare the police officers into fearing for their own safety. Just because an officer stops you doesn't mean you're automatically bad or in trouble. Sometimes they want to tell you that they're worried you're going to be hit by a car, or to make sure you're not the person they're actually looking for. Its no big deal if you're being a good person and following the law. And even good people following the law, get stopped sometimes. You can feel hassled, or you can feel protected. That's your choice. I choose to believe these men and women are mostly good, and want to keep us all safe and in an organized society. I will not begrudged them a few minutes of my time to facilitate that.
I'm a proud many-generational American. 🇺🇲
I see the SNAP benefit scammers all of the time. People buying carts full of milk, soda, etc. to stock the shelves of their stores. It's so obvious, and nothing is done about it.
