For Alex, climbing that Skyscraper was probably easy compared to some of the climbs he has made. I just hope, for the sake of his family, he knows when to retire.
The fact that’s he’s the only person on earth to climb El Cap with no rope should tell you everything.
The way he stood at the very top holding onto nothing in those high winds. Absolutely insane
Inspired by Alex, I free solo climbed a ladder up to my roof to knock down some big icicles. Yeahhh... guys like me and Alex, were a different breed 😎
I couldn't even watch that climb. Climbing my ladder is death defying enough for me!
Reminds me of the old pictures of the workers sitting on the iron beams, eating lunch while building skyscrapers.
The audience enduring the commentators was also a feat.
I got the “afraid of heights” feeling just watching the clips
I get a pit in my stomach and my palms start sweating by just watching Alex climb free solo... Absolutely insane stuff!
Watching this, my têsticles receeded, rolled down the hallway to the bedroom, hid under the covers, and called the Feds to be put into witness protection.
