From pressuring the IDF to cede control to his new international 'Board of Peace' in Gaza, to using Saudi normalization as a carrot for concessions, Trump has proven he doesn't take orders—he gives them. You don’t have to like his actions to see he's his own director; he’s not following a script, he’s running a balance sheet. As for being 'controlled'—have you seen his social media? He recently posted that the Board of Peace is 'the most prestigious board ever assembled' and hinted it could eventually replace the UN. The man doesn't want to be controlled; he wants to be the Chairman of the World.
