Mel, I can't tell you how much your podcasts have added to my life. I'm 73 years old and in a major transition. I've started watching your podcasts every morning and each one gives me at least one nugget (and more often a boulder size push to keep moving. Today's adventure inspired something I'm going to check off my bucket list. 50 years ago my now departed husband and I decided that we were going to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Life got in the way and we never did it. This morning after watching this podcast I'm going to do it. Not next year, but there's still time this year and I'm going to make it happen. Thank you for being my new friend. I enjoy getting together every day. And I'm using the workbook this week figuring out what I really want at this point in my life. In case no one has told you today...I love you.

Hiking is magical! A year ago tomorrow, I started the Camino de Santiago in Spain as a 57 year old. I wanted to walk the 500 miles with everything I needed on my back-mainly just to prove that I could! It took 34 days and literally changed my life and my belief in myself! I am capable of anything I choose to do, and there is magic all around me waiting to support me, if I let it! It was truly amazing! I made friends from all over the world on that trip, restoring my faith in human kindness! They said on the trail that we carry our fears in our backpacks-and as the trip progresses you shed so much that is unnecessary and come to appreciate what supports you!

Mel, first I have to say that forgetting to pack hiking boots for a hiking trip is EXACTLY something that I would do! But more importantly, I want to thank you for the fantastic summer I just had. In July, I took your advice about texting one friend a day, and in doing so I reconnected with so many old friends, arranged lunches, shopping trips, thrifting getaways, fancy dinners, even kayaking! I've had the most amazing summer of my adult life and it's because I listened to you! Thank you for being you. It helps all of us.

@Mel_Robbins If you had the checklist, and you remembered the beer, you would not have the experience and the memory of the lake 😊

I actually cried happy tears at the end of this one, Mel. It completely resonated with my current status and the tears just came out. I know you hear it all the time, but I have to thank you from my heart for sharing your life and being so incredibly real. You are a treasure chest and I love you!! ❀
