I am 75 yrs old. My Husband died 2 yrs ago from a brain tumor. I died with him and I sat doing nothing, not thinking at all. I lost my leg movements, Then I started moving. I started dancing . Everyday I danced for 20-30 min. a day. I take my dog for a 6 block walk. My kids thought I was losing my mind for 1 1/2 years . I came back to life. Dancing brought me back.
1. Move your body ( exercise) 2. Get off your phone 3. Give priority to your relationships
I immediately stopped the video and took a 5min brisk walk around my apartment. Felt proud of myself that I started.
I exercise every day I’m 73 , never been on prescription drugs ! I’ve been exercising since I was 28 years old😅
I’m a PhD, and ‘Real Health Is Simple’ by Julian Marks is one of the few books I actually suggest everyone to read. It’s that powerful.
I am almosr 92 and I exercise at home every day. I do all my house keeping, cook and bake and some yardwork. I am so blessed.
My mom passed in November 24 from dementìa. I was her care taker...I was devastated cause the two yrs from when she was diagnosed went by soooo fast. The one month after she had passed, my five month old grandson was diagnosed with AML...my world just fell apart. I just cannot get out of this funk. 7 1/2 months in the hospital, my grandson bravely fought cancer and will be coming home soon. My fingers crossed that the cancer will NEVER come back. This 53 yr old grandma has got to get her strength together so that I can enjoy every second that I already missed with him. Uuuugh!!! I am getting out of bed now...to get this body moving again. One step at a time...& a lifetime of adventures with my dearest lil guy Matthew!!!
I just knocked out 12 push-ups at 59 years old. :)
But if I didnt scroll or have my phone i wouldn't of found you😂❤
Mel, this has to be your best podcast ever! This 70 year old is inspired. I immediately jumped up and did 11 modified push ups!
