I’m 71 and now I’m taking better care of myself. I’m finally listening to my body, to me. I finally understand what’s going on inside my body! It’s never too late to learn.

Wow, what a sport this doctor is, what a trooper. Mel just couldn’t shut up and let her talk. I understand her enthusiasm. This is a major topic, but please let her talk. OMG.

I love Mel and I appreciate she's giving the chance to have access to this really important subject to the public eye. Nonetheless, the constant interruption mid way bothers a bit when Dr. Shepherd is sharing REALLY important points and it's cut off for so many questions (that are also valid and important) but I wish I could have heard the whole answer the Dr. had prepared...

A really informative session, however, I wish that Mel didn’t cut off Dr. Shepherd so much while she was speaking and let her finish her sentences before asking a question or commenting, nonetheless, I still learnt something.

This is exactly the conversation more women need to hear. After 40, it’s not just about willpower or eating clean — it’s about rebuilding your body from the inside out. Once I started focusing on blood sugar, gut health, and hormone signals instead of just macros, my energy and weight finally shifted. I’ve been sharing what’s actually working for women like us over on my channel too — grateful for videos like this that speak the truth. 💛

This is the best podcast on all podcasts on peri-menopause + menopause from what I've come across on Mel's channel. Wish it was longer and Mel wouldn't interrupt so much. Please bring Dr Shepherd back
