Order your copy of The Let Them Theory 👉 https://melrob.co/let-them-theory 👈 The #1 Best Selling Book of 2025 🔥 Discover how much power you truly have. It all begins with two simple words. Let Them. — If you’ve been feeling the itch for something more in life: a new chapter, a new dream, a new version of yourself – this episode is your green light. It is a guide to how you can transform your life at any moment. Today, Mel sits down with her friend Hoda Kotb. Hoda, more than anyone else, will prove to you that reinvention is something you CAN do. In her twenties and thirties, she climbed the ranks in newsrooms across the country and refused to quit until she landed one of the most coveted jobs in the world, a co-anchor of the Today Show. In her forties she became a breast cancer survivor, in her fifties she adopted her daughters and became a mother for the first time, and at sixty, she walked away from the peak of her career to launch a brand-new business with no prior experience. Every single time life whispered, “It’s too late for you,” Hoda said, “No, it’s not. Watch me.” The wisdom she is sharing, directly with you, will prove that it's not too late – you can reinvent your life. She is going to walk you step by step through how she did it, over and over again. She will teach you how to: -“Stop the train” of your life, zoom out, and honestly ask, “Is this actually enough for me?” -Find the courage to give voice to the quiet dream you’ve buried because you’re afraid it won’t happen -Keep going when other people say you're not good enough -Reframe fear, rejection, and “no” using Hoda’s wild early-career story (27 rejections and ONE person who changed everything) -Truly start to believe that you do deserve more If you feel stuck in your job, your relationship, your routine, or just in a version of yourself you’ve outgrown, this episode is your permission slip and your playbook. This is your sign. This is your moment. Let Hoda show you what’s possible. I was fired an hour ago. I was on the train heading home, feeling so sad and disappointed with my life. So many doubts about my future. I'm 49, and at this time of year it feels even scarier. And then I saw your channel and your guest, and suddenly I’m starting to feel hope that things can get better if I believe in it. Thank you both for this amazing message. I really needed to hear that. Today is not the end, but the beginning of something so much better. ❤️ Greetings from Portugal, and I wish you all the best. 😊

This episode made me cry. I'm 42 years old and still trying to be the "good girl" who does what is expected of her, even though my heart has been wanting to go a different direction for years. I'm afraid of letting others down by choosing what I want, I'm afraid of what others will think, will say, I'm afraid that people will be upset with me, or make fun of me for choosing a new path. I don't want to be afraid anymore. The time pie is what made me break down. Knowing that I only have one life and I've been giving control of it to everyone but me for so many years. This episode felt like permission to follow where my heart is leading. Thank you!

And this is why you ALWAYS speak your birthday! When I started saying my wish out loud, everyone freaked out, "You are not supposed to say your wish!!" I respond, "If you don't speak it, how does the Universe know what's in your heart??" You have to put it out there loud and proud!

How coincidental that I listen to this today. I went to a funeral recently, someone who became incredibly ill over the course of 2 years. A fit and healthy guy who passed away too soon. I’ve always worked a 9-5 job with a reliable income. I’ve started a little dog walking business on the side and desperately want to put my everything into it but my income safety net stops me. Since this funeral I’ve thought - fuck it!!! I’m fit, healthy, raised my kids and now it’s time for me. I’m planning on launching this in the new year. Thank you for the wise words x

EXRACT, UNPACK, AND KICK YOUR DAMN DOOR OPEN!!! Mel, I am 68, my husband left after 36 years of marriage 8 years ago. I've been in therapy, had a relationship with a man I loved, but who was not my person, I retired 2 years ago from a soul filling job, and I, being a person who loves socializing but has become so reclusive, is ready to kick the door wide open.😮🎉 I don't know what will be on the other side of the door, but it's gonna be better than the view from my freaking sofa!😂THANKS Mel & Hoda!❤

67 this month and this came right on time. I started a renewable energy company 2 years ago and was thinking did I start too late? This is confirmation 🎉😊
