Where I live, it is much cheaper to buy a rotisserie chicken than it is to buy a fresh one and cook it yourself.
I mean $5 Costco rotessire chicken is one of the best deals out there. Hows anyone gonna shame you for buying that
Elder millennial here, and I routinely turn a whole rotisserie chicken into about a week's worth of chicken quesadillas lol.
No shame to it. If I'm out, I will absolutely devour a whole rotisserie chicken and a half-gallon of orange juice instead of overpriced fast food garbage.
Not only is rotisserie chicken super cheap, but when you’re done, you can cook down the carcass and make a nice bone broth for the next meal… it’s pretty much the cheapest thing you can get.
It’s amazing that with food stamps you can’t buy a rotisserie chicken because it’s considered a warm food, but you can buy liters of soda and candy bars.
There are lots of reasons to scold Gen Z. But rotisserie chicken ain't one of em.
I get at least three meals out of a Walmart rotisserie chicken for like $5. Why do people cry about affordability and then get mad when things are cheap?
So what I learned today is that no matter what generation you're born into, stupidity and stereotypes will always exist.
The jig is up, the price of our survival chicken is going to rise.
