This is just really refreshing to see such a beloved and iconic star who isn't afraid to stand by good morals and truly represent what it means to be a TV mom and America's mom.
It wasn't that long ago that, if a teacher mentioned sexuality to a student, there was an instant ride to jail.
I'm not just saying this just because Leigh-Allyn Baker is in this video, but Amy Duncan was my favorite character in Good Luck Charlie, a show with a LOT of good stuff to choose from. Super cool to see her again!
Woman hasn't aged a DAY! LOVE her ❤️
Her look is priceless. I'm a 70 year old white guy and have never owned a slave. My two Korean kids and my black SIL sure don't think of me as an oppressor. This animation is disgusting.
Respect for Leigh. She gave an honest opinion that others are afraid to make public.
Oh yeah, also, 'member in Good Luck Charlie when Teddy and PJ Duncan (both white) each had a black best friend and nobody cared what color anybody's skin was? 'Member how Ivy and Teddy were super close for pretty much the whole show and how Emmet and PJ had a wholesome bromance that both actors played super well? 'Member how the one quote-on-quote "woke" element of the show (the possibly lesbian couple that was in one episode in the final season) was an actually good comedy bit where Bob and Amy couldn't figure out if they were lesbians or just close friends? 'Member how the main theme of the entire show was that despite all the bumps and challenges along the way, growing up from infancy to adulthood inside a close-knit nuclear family was a good and wholesome thing for everyone involved? 'Member the line from the main title song, "Sure, life goes up and down, but trust me, it comes back around; you're gonna love who you turn out to be. Hang in there, baby!" I don't think it's the least bit of a coincidence that after Good Luck Charlie ended, the quality of Disney Channel live-action sitcoms began to gradually decline to the point of general irrelevancy.
as a 23yr old girl who was a disney channel kid in the good luck charlie era, i absolutely love this crossover!!
I’m sorry I’m a black person and even I know that slaves did not build the whole country from sea to sea. Black people before the 1900’s lived largely in the south, black people contributed to the country but we did not build the entire country.
“We’ve earned reparations for their suffering” such a slap in the face to the lives lost
